How SquareUp Chess came to be and where we're headed.
The Beginning (2024): SquareUp Chess was born from a simple frustration. As competitive chess players ourselves, we were tired of tournament platforms that either charged excessive fees, had unfair prize distributions, or lacked proper anti-cheating measures.
The Vision: We envisioned a platform where a $10 entry fee could provide exciting competition with real rewards, where 90% of all entry fees go directly to the prize pool, and where advanced technology ensures fair play for everyone.
Today: We've built a thriving community of chess enthusiasts who appreciate transparency, fair competition, and the thrill of earning real rewards for their chess skills. Our platform hosts multiple tournaments daily, from quick blitz battles to deep classical games.
